Terms of use

Last updated August 2026
This is a plain-English summary of how we handle your information / the terms of using this site, written to be readable. It's general information, not legal advice. Questions? Email hello@slashhorizons.com.

These terms cover your use of the Slash Horizons website. By using the site, you agree to them. Slash Horizons is a venture within the Slash Group, based in Brisbane, Australia.

The site and its content

This website is informational. Everything on it — text, design, the Slash Horizons name and logo, and other brand materials — belongs to Slash Horizons or the Slash Group unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to read and share links to it, but please don't copy, reproduce, or reuse our content or branding without our permission.

Acceptable use

Please use the site lawfully and reasonably. Don't attempt to disrupt or attack it, gain unauthorised access, or scrape or harvest it at scale. We may limit or block access if the site is being misused.

No professional advice

The material here reflects our thinking and is for general information only. It isn't professional, legal, financial, career, or HR advice, and shouldn't be relied on as a substitute for advice tailored to your situation.

Getting in touch and the early access list

Emailing us or joining the early access list doesn't create any engagement, contract, or obligation on either side. Joining the list means we may email you about Build Your Horizon; it does not reserve you a place, guarantee you access, or fix a price, and it doesn't oblige you to buy anything if and when it exists. Any work we do together is agreed separately and in writing first, with its own scope, deliverables, exclusions, confidentiality terms and fee.

What is described on this site

Slash Horizons is early-stage, and this site describes a product that does not exist yet. Build Your Horizon is labelled “in design”, which means it is a concept and a design and cannot currently be used or bought. Everything said about it — including the example “My Horizon” plan, which is marked illustrative and is not a real person's — describes what we are building, not a promise that a particular feature, date, price or outcome will eventuate. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance.

“As is” and liability

We build this site with care, but we provide it “as is”. We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that the information is complete or current. To the extent permitted by law, Slash Horizons isn't liable for any loss arising from your use of the site.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can't be excluded but can be limited, it's limited to re-supplying the relevant information or service.

External links

We link to other sites — such as Slash Group, Slash Tech, and LinkedIn — for convenience. We're not responsible for the content or practices of sites we don't control.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and forms part of these terms.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as Slash Horizons develops; the current version will always be posted here. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Questions? Email hello@slashhorizons.com.
